Ralph Macchio has been named to the newly-created position of senior vice president, global research & development and chief scientific officer at Coty. In assuming this position, Mr. Macchio will undertake the responsibilities of strengthening Coty’s innovative capabilities while improving upon the best R&D practices.
Mr. Macchio will work with both Coty Prestige and Coty Beauty to tighten business development and strategies across product teams, while simultaneously partnering with Coty Operations to establish and lead innovative programs across the board. He will also explore possible alliances and partnerships outside Coty to identify upcoming breakthrough technologies.
